Long X Bridge to Watford City 4 Lane Project Update (design phase)

Continued efforts for:

• Utility Coordination almost complete
• Right of Way Negotiations progressing
• Cost Participation & Maintenance Agreement with McKenzie County being prepared for submittal
• 404 has been recently submitted and is under review by USACE
• Final Plans almost complete 
• Project Bid late 2022 or early January 2023

NEW) à Hwy 85/ Hwy 200 Intersection to Long X Bridge (design phase)

• DOT and consultants working on survey and continuing design.
• Additional Aerial Survey/Ground survey is 60% complete
• Wetland Survey is 80% complete
• Working on Slope Stability Soil Boring & Testing
• Preliminary Hydraulic Report is 50% complete

NDDOT has an application for the grant described below notification should be in November, 2022.

The Mega Program (known statutorily as the National Infrastructure Project Assistance program) will support large, complex projects that are difficult to fund by other means and likely to generate national or regional economic, mobility, or safety benefits. The DOT requested $64.85 million from the grant program.
